The pandemic and related restrictions have reduced the study of French to distance courses and online meetings for a long time. However, the need for real-life communication has not disappeared.
Language is a dynamic system; it is in contact with society, territory, culture. The context of phrases and intonations is based on observation of lifestyle. Habits and ways of solving problems become clear when the living conditions and the life features are known.

Bagnoles de l'Orne

We are opening an atelier. The purpose of the atelier is to teach practical skills in communicating in French, basic talking tools, linguistic and cultural codes of presentation of self and information.


The atelier takes place in the Normandy resort of Bagnoles de l'Orne, a town of mineral waters and villas in the style of belle époque и art déco. Paths, parks and walking trails interconnect spa residence, tennis courts, hippodrome, racecourse, the casino, the golf course. A local market with seasonal farm products takes place four times a week, bakeries, cheese shops and butchers, wine cellars and a large supermarket are open.

We can organize an aperitif on terraces of Normandy villa hotels, drink coffee with local biscuits while enjoying the best views of the island-fortress of Mont Saint-Michel, go to Cancale oyster farms. The medieval castle of Carrouges and its history that inspired Ridley Scott's to make the film «The Last Duel», as well as Haras du Pin, the oldest royal stables, are half an hour away
